Black & White Jewelry Challenge

I started making glass beads in about 1994...  ... I love making black and white beads... although I've found that black & white jewellery doesn't sell all that well except for earrings.  So when Sally Russick of The studio sublime put out this challenge I had to jump on board!

Since I like making black and white beads and they don't sell I have a pretty good selection of jewellery... through the ages...

!997  with early attempts at wire work

2003 I really like the design of this necklace...
don't think I tried very hard to sell it!

2007 ... those have got to be some of the filthiest silver beads I've ever seen.. the look red!

 2013
These are some of the beads I made for this challenge.. Really comfortable bracelet to wear!

These were suppose to be a necklace, they are hollow beads made on a normal mandrel

To see how other people interpreted this challenge follow the list on Sally Russick's blog the host of this wonderful challenge!  or follow the links below!

Loving all your awesome variety of bead designs, Lynne!

Added my link but I don't know if it is working, had some trouble with it.

Wow, what a collection! Isn't it funny how black and white don't sell as well as color does??? I love all your styles. Makes me want to go back to some jewelry I created a few years ago and take a second look.

Thanks for wonderful pics.

I just love how you showed your black and white designs through the years, they're fabulous! I also am in love with the knotted bracelet you made - those beads are super gorgeous. And the set of beads you pictured are equally cool, too! Great designs for this challenge.

I can never decide if it's fun or scary looking back at my 1st attempts at jewelry making all those years ago. I guess the fun is in seeing our evolving talents, eh? Love that you can make your own beads. And love the beads you made.

Enjoyed viewing your black and white pieces form the past to the present. I don'r understand why people do not like to by black and white pieces, they are neutral colors that go with everything. All of your pieces are beautiful. I really like the bracelet and the hollow beads, they look so fragile.

Black and white is my favorite to wear and can understand your not trying to sell that second necklace. The hollow beads for this challenge are out of this world!
